Lakewood and the M-Streets, northeast of downtown Dallas, are well known for their tree-lined streets, rolling terrain and architectural diversity. The neighborhoods are bounded by Gaston Avenue on the south, Central Expressway on the west, Mockingbird Lane on the north, and Williamson Road and White Rock Lake on the east. Housing styles in the area include Mediterranean, Spanish, Tudor, Prairie and traditional homes built in the 1980s and 1990s. One of Dallas’s finest recreational resources, White Rock Lake, was built in 1914, bringing many recreational visitors to the area. Development in the Lakewood area began around that time, with building continuing into the 1940s and 1950s. The Lakewood Theater opened in 1938. White Rock Lake is a favorite spot for cyclists, sailors, runners and walkers; and it’s a great place to be when the evening sun sets.
Lakewood and the M-Streets are now some of the hottest housing areas in Dallas, with hundreds of new custom homes built every year. In 2005, Lexington Luxury Builders became active building new homes in Lakewood, new homes in the M-Streets and remodeled homes in Lakewood. With our vast experience, Lexington builds some of the finest Dallas new homes in the Lakewood - M-Streets area. And, Lexington's area new homes are all green built homes.
